Our approach
Racelytic turns published motorsport records into a connected archive for historical research, analysis and championship calculations. Source names and links are provided for transparency. A citation does not by itself grant a licence, transfer ownership, or imply that a source endorses Racelytic.
Results and derived calculations can contain transcription errors, source errors or later corrections. Racelytic is not an official record; important facts should be checked against the relevant championship documents.
Formula 1
Formula 1 results, championship records and circuit SVGs are adapted from F1DB, created by Marcel Overdijk, with circuit artwork by Jules Roy and contributions from the F1DB community.
F1DB is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. Racelytic normalises identifiers and names, restructures the source tables, corrects selected records and derives additional statistics. Changes were made; Racelytic’s modifications are not endorsed by the F1DB contributors.
Formula 2
The Formula 2 archive is compiled from published classifications, including Motorsport Stats, selected official FIA event documents, and project-maintained corrections. Racelytic converts these records into a consistent event, driver and team structure and calculates its own summaries.

Formula 3
The Formula 3 archive is compiled from published classifications, including Motorsport Stats, official championship material and project-maintained corrections. Racelytic normalises the records and derives standings and analysis from the resulting data.

F1 Academy
The F1 Academy archive is compiled from calendars and classifications published on the official F1 Academy website, supplemented by project-maintained corrections. Racelytic normalises driver, team, circuit and event records and derives standings and analysis.
The official website and its materials are governed by the publisher’s own terms. Linking and attribution do not imply endorsement or grant Racelytic rights in its protected content.
Changes and corrections
Racelytic may standardise spelling, identifiers, country codes, team names, race formats and classification statuses so records can be compared across seasons. Some missing grid positions are derived from qualifying results and the documented race format; pages identify derived values where they are displayed.
If a source changes or a discrepancy is found, Racelytic may update the archive. Please include a reliable supporting source when suggesting a correction.
Rights and contact
Racelytic is independent and unofficial. Championship, organisation, team and driver names are used for identification and editorial reference. Trade marks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
